First-generation college student with a B.A. in Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media as well as a B.A. in English and World Literature. Marymount Manhattan Alumna. Currently pursuing an M.A. in Comparative World Literature from San Francisco State University with an emphasis on Spanish (specifically, Guatemalan) and Italian works. Interested in representations of trauma in literature, the role of the reader, mythology/folklore, and post-colonial eco-criticism.
